Where are you from?

I am originally from Guinea.

What do you do?

I am an Africa Business Consultant, helping global companies and entrepreneurs successfully enter and navigate African markets, particularly in Mining, Energy, Infrastructure, and Pharmaceuticals.

What inspired you to pursue this business/career?

Africa is full of untapped potential, yet many businesses struggle due to a lack of the right connections, understanding of the market, or strategy. I saw an opportunity to bridge this gap by guiding companies through the complexities of doing business in Africa while ensuring they create sustainable and impactful ventures.

Tell us about your Career/Business.

I am the Founder & Managing Director of HAR-CHE Business Solutions, a consulting firm based in the UK London, specialising in market entry, strategic partnerships, and investment facilitation in Africa. We provide tailored solutions for multinational corporations, investors, and entrepreneurs looking to establish or expand in Africa. We operate in 14 African countries and work closely with governments, key decision-makers, and trusted partners to ensure our clients have the right foundation for success.

Can you share a pivotal moment in your career that significantly shaped the leader you are today?

One key moment was during my work in DRC, where I witnessed firsthand how understanding the local culture, building trust, and having the right partnerships can make or break a business. I realised that many companies fail because they try to apply a Western approach without adapting to the African business environment. That experience reshaped my strategy and how I now help businesses succeed.

How has your African heritage shaped your leadership/career/business journey?

Being African gives me an insider perspective on how business is truly done across different regions. I understand the nuances of trust, relationships, and long-term thinking that are crucial in African markets. It also gives me a deep responsibility to ensure that foreign investments benefit local economies, not just external companies.

What role does your culture play in your career, leadership style, and decision-making processes?

My culture emphasizes respect, patience, and strong relationships, which directly influence how I lead and make decisions. In Africa, business is built on trust—without it, deals don’t happen. I focus on understanding people, valuing partnerships, and finding solutions that create long-term success.

What legacy do you hope to leave for the next generation of Africans?

I want to be part of the movement that changes how Africa does business with the world—moving away from extractive relationships toward mutual growth and sustainability. I also want to inspire young Africans to take ownership of their industries, become key players, and build companies that compete globally.

What about your heritage makes you proud?

Africa is resilient, resourceful, and full of opportunities. I’m proud of how African entrepreneurs, professionals, and leaders are shaping the continent’s future, proving that Africa is not just a market but a powerhouse of innovation and potential.

Any last words of wisdom?

Success in Africa isn’t about speed, it’s about understanding. Companies that invest in the right partnerships, adapt to local dynamics, and play the long game are the ones that thrive.

Is there anything else you would like to address that we didn’t ask?

Just a big Thanks.
